Schmitz Cargobull recibió certificados DQS en TAPA e ISMS

It was one of the first highlights at the IAA Transportation 2022, the world's leading trade fair for mobility, transport and logistics in Hanover: DQS GmbH Managing Director Markus Bleher presented a certificate based on the TAPA TSR1 to Volker Flatau, Head of Product Line Cool Freight at Schmitz Cargobull.

Security for trucks ex works ...

The family-owned company, which was founded in 1892, had added the TAPA standard for Trucking Security Requirements to the product portfolio of its S.KO COOL refrigerated semitrailer. Schmitz Cargobull is thus the first manufacturer to integrate specific TAPA requirements into the factory equipment package of a semitrailer in its theft benefit package. 

TSR1 is one of three TAPA security standards developed specifically for the transportation and logistics industries: TAPA FSR (Facility Security Requirements), TAPA TSR (Trucking Security Requirements) and TAPA PSR (Parking Security Requirements). They stand for more transparency and security in the industry and are certifiable. TAPA's main focus is on theft prevention through the use of real-time information and the latest prevention measures. 

The Transported Asset Protection Association (TAPA) is an industry association consisting of manufacturers, logistics service providers, freight carriers and law enforcement agencies that uses proven methods and procedures to enhance transportation security for high-value assets worldwide. The goal is to reduce losses in the supply chain.

Markus Bleher, however, not only had the TAPA certificate in his luggage, but also one according to ISO 27001. The successful implementation of the requirements for an information security management system was issued to Schmitz Cargobull at the beginning of September. Schmitz Cargobull CEO Andreas Busacker and IT Manager Michael Schöller accepted the certificate at the trade fair.
