Crucial to this role is the need to gain a deep understanding of the market opportunities and actively aid in the creation of a business development strategy to target the domestic and regional markets that DQS Group is focussing on.
Key Responsibilities
- Your focus will be on expanding our national companies and our presence in one of the European regions by working closely with the DQS management team, our country offices, and our center of excellence to develop and implement growth strategies that enhance added value for our shareholders.
- Know the competitive landscape and business value creation opportunities within our client areas by understanding domestic or regional requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, and trends, as well as new ways to expand our markets hand in hand with our country organizations and our global strategic Centre of Excellence.
- Serve as a business and indirect sales support to develop growth and sales strategies.
- Understand and translate industry key issues and critical KPI information into business and market intelligence analyses and transfer them into business development and marketing strategies.
- Define market opportunities and prioritize go-to-market solutions for specific countries and regions.
- Be knowledgeable about the entire value chain and processes in DQS Group.
- You develop ideas for placing thought leadership and marketing activities in our national companies, in international sales projects and strategic partnerships and promote international cooperation within DQS Group.
What we are looking for
- Successfully completed business studies with an international focus or comparable training and professional experience.
- Professional experience in an international environment, for example in business development, global or key account management, sales, or strategic management.
- Strong operational knowledge and experience across key business areas. Knowledge of management systems is an advantage.
- Exceptional planning, coordination, and execution skills. Ability to negotiate, execute, manage, and drive action.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work with digital reporting tools (e.g. Power BI etc.).
- Strong contact and communication skills and intercultural competence.
- Ability to build networks and relationships by working passionately as part of a global team.
- Confident handling of different hierarchical levels internally and externally, including top management.
- Fluency in English, with knowledge of German or other European languages desirable.
