Tapa AP discontinues the use of Remote Audits

Addressing the development of CoViD-19 pandemic and the relief of associated travel restrictions in some countries/areas, Tapa APAC decides to discontinue the use of remote audits for Tapa certifications from July 4, 2022, to improve the quality of security related audits.

For a site which is still under lockdown and unable to be accessed for a physical audit, application shall be submitted by IAB to TAPA APAC for approval for remote audit on a case-by-case basis, from which the certification will only be valid for one year.
