DQS Medical Customer Meet in India

New Delhi

DQS India hosted a customer meeting in Delhi on the 15th of June attended by 32 representatives from 15 companies. Ms. Sigrid Uhlemann, Managing Director of DQS MED, the notified body for Medical and Ms. Francine, Head of COE Medical were present to interact with the customers on the collaboration for the regulatory certification. Dr. Murugan, Managing Director & CEO of DQS India welcomed the delegates and Mahadevan, Head of Medical SBU, DQS India made a brief presentation on the Challenges and Opportunities of the Extension of MDD certificates.

Customers participated with a lot of involvement asking how their business challenges can be addressed during the MDD to MDR change.  Some pertinent ones are connected to continuation of their business during the transition.

Sigrid clarified specific questions from customers, adding the point of "how DQS believes that the medical device safety is in the DNA of our team".

Mahadevan, Head of Medical SBU of India, was explaining the benefits of MDD to MDR transition as an opportunity to optimize the cost and other possible impacts.
