Risk Management Principles and Guidelines
The ability to manage risk is one of the core competencies of any organisation. The organisation has greater control of its growth and development when risk management is applied throughout the enterprise and the performance of its risk management framework is appropriate to the criticality of the decisions that are to be made. Risk management methods and tools assist any organisation to plan and implement concrete actions and programmes to maximise their opportunities and control their threats.
The ISO 31000:2018 international standard seeks to provide a universally recognised paradigm for companies employing risk management processes to replace existing standards, methodologies and paradigms that differed between industries, subject matters and regions.
With the successful completion of this course the participant will be able to:

Content
The course incorporates numerous practical group activities to facilitate the skills required to apply Risk-based thinking, identify context through a SWOT Analysis, perform basic Risk Assessments and implement a Risk Management Initiative with the use of a Compliance and Implementation Checklist and Guidelines.
Final exam and a practical assignment.
