Understanding and Implementation of ISO 9001 (QMS)

The purpose of this training course is to equip delegates with understanding and implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. This course was designed so organisations can efficiently ensure employees are aware and understand the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems and DQS Corporate Directive requirements and international best practices.
This course is focused on methods and techniques to adequately address the following:
- The adoption of a QMS is a strategic decision for an organisation that can help to improve its overall performance and provide a sound basis for sustainable development initiatives.
- The ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Facilitating opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction:
- Addressing risks and opportunities.
- Ability to demonstrate conformity to specified QMS requirements.
- Continual improvement to an increasingly dynamic and complex environment.
Learning Assumed To Be In Place:
- The participants have completed secondary education or equivalent.
- It is recommended that participants have a basic understanding of quality management principles and an in-depth understanding of the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
- A basic quality mindset for improving quality management skills is recommended.
Course Outcome:
After the successful completion of this course the candidate will be able to apply the following principles:
- The implementation and functionality of ISO 9001:2015 within a business.
- The principles, of the ISO 9001:2015 management system standard.
- A process approach when implementing and maintaining ISO 9001:2015 as a management standard.
- The key elements of the ISO 9001:2015 standard and be able to interpret it within the learner’s business.
