Recently, after the European Railway Industry Association (UNIFE) meeting, the IRIS Management Centre announced the IRIS scheme (ISO 22163) will not be released by the end of 1st Quarter 2023, as previously announced. The new version is expected to be released in no earlier than June 2023.
Due to the delay of the release of the IRIS standard (ISO 22163), the expected execution date of the new version has also changed relatively.
Starts from January 1, 2024, all certification audits will be conducted according to IRIS Rev 04.
Starts from October 1, 2024, all surveillance audits will be conducted according to IRIS Rev 04.
Starts from April 1, 2024, all recertification audits will be conducted according to IRIS Rev 04.
1. all transition audits will be conducted according to IRIS Rev 04 only starts from April 1, 2024.
2. a Readiness Review (RR) shall be added in accordance (mandatory) with the type of IRIS audits for upgrades of Rev 03 to Rev 04.
3. the IRIS Management Centre will announce the update man day table for transition audits.
