Becoming “certified”, what does that mean? According to Dictionary.com, certified means “1. having or proved by a certificate 2. guaranteed; reliably endorsed:” with certificate meaning:

“1. a document serving as evidence or as written testimony, as of status, qualifications, privileges, or the truth of something…”

All that is to say that receiving a certificate, or becoming certified/receiving certification, shows that you or your organization has achieved a status or “truth of something” or in plain language, has worked to obtain more knowledge of a particular subject can shows competence and understanding in said subject. Taking this as a high level view of certification, it sounds like a substantial way to enhance your business and it’s practices.
