Due to a purely legal, strict interpretation of the German Accreditation Body "Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS)", in the future all accredited certifiers will require extended information from their customers for the review and approval of multi-site certifications (companies with several locations).
It should be clarified that the term "location" used in the language of the standard is to be understood as "legal entity" pursuant to §§ 21 et seq. of the German Civil Code (BGB) or "partnership with legal capacity" pursuant to § 14 of the German Civil Code. In organizations, this is also frequently referred to as a "legal entity". This means that you must mentally replace the standard term "location" with "legal person" or "legal entity".
It is therefore in your interest to provide us with the necessary information and evidence, otherwise we will not be able to provide proof of multi-site capability to DAkkS. The consequence would be that your multi-site certification would have to be transferred to individual certifications.
