The HR manager will need to develop strong relationships to provide direction and guidance to all levels of the organization on HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency. Key to success is a holistic approach to developing a high-performance culture and superior teams. HR Manager will actively participate as a functional resource on leadership team ensuring human resources is an integral part of the business strategy. This role is not a policy police – the key to success will be superior relationship building, gaining organizational trust, and having the mental fortitude to push back respectfully. HR Manager needs to have a roll up your sleeves attitude.
The HR Manager is also part of an international collaborative HR network in which global HR strategies are developed and discussed across the board. There is an active dotted line to the Global Head of HR in the holding company at the headquarters in Germany.
