What does CEPA Certified stand for?
CEPA Procedure
In the first step, you discuss your company, your management system and the goals of certification with us. On this basis, you will promptly receive a detailed and transparent offer from us, tailored to your individual needs.
In order to be able to assess to what extent you already meet the requirements of the standard, CEPA has developed a free self-assessment tool, which is available at www.cepa-europe.org.
The audit and its results are evaluated by the independent certification board of DQS, which decides on the issuance of the certificate. You will receive an audit report documenting the audit results. If there are any nonconformities, you have three months to resolve them and take appropriate action. If there are no more outstanding nonconformities, the CEPACertified® certificate is issued. The certificate is valid for three years.
Once we have issued the certificate, we upload it to the CEPA database. This increases your chances of being found by new customers.
To maintain the validity of the certificate, a surveillance audit is required 18 months after the initial assessment. Again, you will receive an audit report. Three years after the initial assessment, the certificate expires. If you wish to apply for renewal, a new cycle of 3 years begins.
