ISO 27001 Certification to Swivel Software

To increase customer trust, Swivel Software Limited (referred as Swivel hereinafter) has implemented an information security management system (ISMS) against ISO 27001, as one of its strategic actions to improve internal governance.

DQS has the honor to be selected by Swivel as the certification body to provide ISO 27001 ISMS certification service. After an thorough initial certification audit recently, DQS HK issued and presented the ISO 27001 certificate to Swivel.

Successful Case - SME for ISO 27001 Certification

SWIVEL is a SME in HK. It doesn't have expertise in ISO 27001 in the past, so the top management decided to use an independent consultant's service to build up the information security system in a few months. After an internal audit and management review, it chose DQS as the certification body to conduct the certification audit.

Minor finding was found from the Initial Audit. After a few weeks, Swivel took actions to address the finding and the certificate was successfully issued.

Mandy Mak, COO of SWIVEL Software, said that the employees had learned a lot from the audit and from the certification she had come up with new idea in future business opportunities, considering the company's strength in software development and the management system approach of ISO 27001.

The management team realized that further integration between its business processes and the young ISMS can be achieved in the coming future.
